Smiley faces have caused motorist and walkers to take a
second look into the fields. The reason for this is that a mob of odd looking
sheep were standing in them. They were tagged with a smiley face and now sheep
in five other fields are tagged with the same smiley face on them.
The responsible party behind this is unknown and while some
speculate it was just some pranksters other are convinced it was aliens.
One farmer whose sheep were tagged wonders why these flocks
were tagged and says it is like crop circles, but on sheep.
I think this is hilarious, as long as the paint does no harm
to the sheep of course. I think it makes the fields just a tad bit nicer to
look at, with these sheep smiling back at you as you walk/drive by. I do wonder
if this is a trend that will catch on and change over time. Just like the trend
of planking and posting the photos of this on Facebook.
I laughed at loud when I read this. I wonder how it would look like when all those sheep smile at you. But just as you said, I hope the paint does not harm the sheep. I am looking forward to see some pictures!
